The Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security Jack Jacob Mwiimbu, MP. has been appointed to act as Leader of Government Business at the National Assembly of Zambia in the absence of Vice President W. K Mutale Nalumango.
This was announced this morning in parliament by the Right Hon. Madam Nelly Muti MP. Speaker of the National Assembly.
The Speaker has also notified the house that Hon. Mwiimbu will act as such until further notice while the Vice President attends to other Government matters.
The Acting Leader of Government business has since indicated readiness to make two-2 ministerial statements that are in the public interest; the gold scum scandal; and, the mob killings incident in Mumbwa.
